Privacy policy
Last updated: 30 September 2026
1. About this policy
AP Realty Pvt. Ltd. (“we”, “us”, “our”) develops and markets residential and commercial real estate. We take the confidentiality of the personal information entrusted to us seriously.
This policy sets out what personal data we gather when you browse www.aprealty.in or interact with our sales, marketing or customer-service teams, why we hold it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.
By browsing the website, submitting an enquiry form, or reaching out to us over phone, email or messaging platforms, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described here. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the website or share your information with us.
2. What we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may gather:
- Identity and contact data — your name, mobile number, email address, postal address and city.
- Enquiry data — the configuration, budget band, possession timeline, project or location you are interested in, and whether you are buying for end use or investment.
- Transaction and KYC data — where you proceed towards a booking, documents and details required under RERA, tax and anti-money-laundering rules (PAN, address proof, co-applicant details), plus payment details such as bank name, card type and last four digits of the card or account used — we do not store full card numbers, CVVs or netbanking credentials; these are processed directly by our payment gateway partner.
- Device and usage data — IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring source, pages viewed and time spent.
- Correspondence — enquiry forms, emails, WhatsApp and chat messages, and call recordings where calls are recorded (you will be told at the start of such a call).
- Visit and event data — details you give when registering for a site visit, sales-gallery walkthrough, launch preview or channel-partner event.
- Referral data — where an existing customer or channel partner shares your details with us, we collect what they provide, on the basis that they have your permission to share it.
We do not seek sensitive categories of data such as health or biometric information, and ask that you do not send them to us unprompted.
3. Why we use it
We process your data to:
- respond to enquiries, share project collateral, pricing and payment plans, and arrange site visits
- carry out a booking, execute the agreement for sale, and service you through construction, handover and post-possession
- send you information about launches, inventory, offers and events — where you have consented, and only until you tell us to stop
- verify identity and satisfy obligations under RERA, the Companies Act, tax laws and PMLA
- understand which campaigns and pages actually generate interest, so we can improve both
- protect our legal position, including in the event of a dispute or a fraud investigation.
Where we want to use your data for a purpose not described above, we will ask you first.
4. Legal basis
Most of our processing rests on the consent you give when you submit an enquiry or accept marketing communication. Some processing is instead necessary to perform a contract with you (a booking or an agreement for sale) or to comply with a legal obligation. You can withdraw consent at any time, though this will not affect processing already carried out, and we may still need to retain records the law requires us to keep.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data.
We may disclose it to:
- our own teams – sales, CRM, marketing, legal, finance and customer relations;
- appointed channel partners and brokers, but only the specific partner you are already dealing with, or one you have agreed we may connect you to. We will not circulate your details across a broker network
- co-developers or joint-venture partners registered under RERA for the specific project you have enquired about, where a project is being developed jointly, so they can assist with your enquiry or booking
- our affiliates and group companies, who are bound to handle your data under the same standards as this policy
- service providers who host our website, run our CRM, dispatch email or SMS campaigns, verify documents, or handle analytics — each bound by contract to use the data only for the services they perform for us
- banks, housing finance companies and legal advisors, where you have asked us to help arrange finance or documentation
- courts, regulators and law-enforcement agencies, where disclosure is legally required or needed to establish or defend a legal claim
- an acquirer or successor entity, if the business or a project is transferred, subject to this policy continuing to apply.
6. Cookies and tracking
Our website uses only the cookies it needs to work:
- Strictly necessary — enable page loading, form submission and security.
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though blocking them may stop parts of the site, such as the enquiry form, from working properly.
7. Storage and security
Data is held on servers located in India or with cloud providers that maintain recognised international security certifications. Access is restricted to personnel who need it, accounts are individually credentialed, and data in transit is encrypted.
No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as required.
8. How long we keep it
Enquiry data from prospects who do not proceed is retained for 24 months from your last interaction with us, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Customer, booking and financial records are held for the periods prescribed under RERA, tax and company law typically up to eight years after the transaction closes, and longer where a dispute is live.
9. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is being processed;
- have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected, or outdated data updated;
- ask us to erase data we no longer need for the purpose it was collected for;
- withdraw consent, including opting out of marketing at any time;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapacitated;
- raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response.
Write to sales@aprealty.in. We will verify your identity and respond within 30 days. We may decline a request for instance where it concerns another person’s data, or where the law requires us to retain the record but we will explain why, and you may challenge that decision with us or with the Data Protection Board.
10. Marketing preferences
Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link. For SMS and WhatsApp, reply STOP, or email us. You may also register your number on the National Do Not Call Registry. We will continue to send you transactional messages relating to an existing booking regardless of your marketing preferences.
11. Law enforcement and legal requests
We may disclose your personal data where required by a court order, statutory notice, or a request from a government or regulatory authority acting within its lawful powers, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to prevent harm, fraud, or a breach of law.
12. Third-party links
The site may link to or embed third-party content — maps, videos, virtual tours, social profiles or lender portals. We do not control how those providers handle your data, and this policy does not apply to them. Please read their own policies.
13. Children
The site is meant for people aged 18 and above, and we do not knowingly gather data from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has given us personal data should contact us and we will delete it.
14. Changes
We may revise this policy as our practices or the law change. The current version will always sit on this page with its revision date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the website or notified to you directly.
